Driver Education Online or in a Classroom? 

The internet is a great tool for many things.
Unfortunately, there can be some tradeoffs.

Driver education is the first step in what is an extremely important phase in young lives. It is certainly not a time for compromise or “cutting corners” for the sake of convenience or anything else. We feel strongly that every student should have the opportunity to learn from a teacher in a classroom environment. It is the only way to be sure the student is learning the rules and issues they need to be safe when they begin driving. There is just no way some words and graphics on a screen can substitute for a living, breathing teacher who has been trained to answer questions, address issues, share experiences, and interact with students to assure they are “getting it” with each topic.

We are one of the few driving schools still offering classroom driver education. It is still the most effective way to build a solid foundation of driving knowledge before starting to drive.

Monthly Driver Ed Classes

We offer 4 day driver ed courses every month. Sign up for a 2 weekend class, or a 4 weekday course on school vacations, or 4 Saturdays. Whatever works with your schedule. Classes are held in our on-site classroom in Folsom.

Our course fulfills the DMV driver education requirements, and adds a lot more:

• Defensive driving strategies
• Drinking and driving issues
• Dealing with technology (Cell phones, etc.)
• Responsibility and consequences
• Accident avoidance
• Insurance information
